Founded in 2001, Healthcare Data Management, Inc. is a professional medical billing company that has been serving clients for over 20 years. We are proud of our roots in the mid-Atlantic region, even as we have expanded to service clients across the United States.
From the very beginning, when Cheryl Gundry started this business from the ground-up, we have believed in uncompromised quality and a culture of teamwork. Our internal team is entirely built of individuals with rich experience, ethics, determination, and knowledge. Our approach to our clients is founded on that same principle of teamwork: While we may be a third-party billing company, we approach our business partnerships with the ethos of being an extension of the office itself. We believe in a high level of client communication and availability; when a client needs us, our team will always be there to answer questions. As both founder and President of Healthcare Data Management, Cheryl has dedicated the very best of herself to our company. Cheryl has over 30 years of accounting experience. She has been consistently recognized for her outstanding leadership and management skills within the billing industry. Her passion is for delivering meaningful, profitable services to often over-worked healthcare providers. She thrives on assisting her clients in executing and monitoring a plan of action that will be specifically tailored to their account to maximize cash flow and minimize accounts receivable. Cheryl loves to soak up the sunshine and the enjoyment of her family and dog.
Megan R. Reymann Brauner, MS
VP of Operations
Megan has been a member of the HDM team for over 14 years. Megan has an MS in Gerontology, a field of training that shapes the ethical framework by which she seeks to support healthcare providers in delivering care to all patients. Her contribution to this goal is her expertise and aptitude for strengthening the business-side of healthcare practices. Megan has been recognized in the billing industry with accolades from organizations including the HBMA. When not at work, Megan can be found on the best of adventures with her husband, daughter, and pup.
Jaclyn Sorbo, CPC
Director of Operations
Jaclyn has been an Assistant Director of Operations with HDM for 4 years and a proud member of the company for 13. Jaclyn maintains her Certified Professional Coder certification through the AAPC. She is an experienced medical billing specialist and accounts receivable manager. By day she works hard to deliver for our clients and team; by night she enjoys spending time with her wife and rescue dog.
